Surface Preparation
Previously Painted Surfaces
All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dirt,
wax, grease, oil, chalk, mildew and loose or peeling
paint. For best adhesion, glossy surfaces should be
lightly sanded. Nail holes, cracks or other surface
imperfections should be properly filled, sanded
smooth and dusted clean. Glossy surfaces must be
sanded or deglossed and wiped clean. All bare
areas must be primed. All mold, mildew, and fungi
must be completely and thoroughly removed and
cleaned by using Betanix® 100.1 before painting. Always wear a dust mask when sanding.

Wallboard and Plaster
When applying to new concrete, plaster or texture-
coated surfaces, allow the surface to cure properly.
All new drywall and plaster must be sealed with Primer
BX1000 Interior Wall Primer - Sealer before finish coat
.
